THE RIGHT STAFF is hiring 1st & 2nd shift quality inspectors to work in the western suburbs. Excellent pay!
Responsibilities Include:
Develop measurements, methods and techniques.
Measure products, manage studies and provide reports for FAI and Gage R&R work.
Work with Quality Engineers and Quality Technician on FAI's, Validations and Continuation.
Support Sil-Pro initiated audits (internal).
Identify non-conforming product and initiate Non conformance Report and quarantine product. Communicate to production if issue is found in-process.
Provide support to production regarding quality issues and questions on part quality.
Work on jobs and projects in the correct order to the schedule.
Provide recommendations for goals and objectives.
Provide recommendations for inspection efficiency improvements.
Recommend improvement through analysis of in-process data, capability and yield results.
Demonstrate application of Lean and 6-Sigma principles to QC efforts (Standard Work, 6S, Efficiency Improvements, Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis).
Qualifications:
Excellent hand-eye coordination. Excellent visual acuity - ability to look through a microscope to measure and assess manufactured parts of all sizes.
Team player. Dependable and reliable with a solid attendance record.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Quality mind-set with an eye for discrepancies.
Experience with common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel) preferred.
Experience in silicone or plastic component manufacturing preferred.
Experience with measurement and inspection equipment preferred (i.e. tool scope, microscope, Vertex, micrometer or caliper).
An interest in learning new skills and applying new knowledge.
