Quality Technician (Receiving Inspector)
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging finished goods.
Location: Delano
Pay: $10.00-$14.00/hr. D.O.Q.
Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (2nd Shift)
Receiving Inspector Duties/Responsibilities
-Reads blueprints and work instructions and compares against purchasing information and engineering specifications to determine if incoming materials meet the requirements.
-Discards or rejects products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.
-Records inspection or test data, such as color, weight, volume, size, shape, grade, quantity, etc.
-Marks items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status.
-Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
-Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
-Deliver or route materials to departments using handtruck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
-Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
-Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
-Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
-Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.
-Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
-Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
-Read blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required.
-Provide support to quality inspection team for first article and works in process.
-Performs assembly processes in accordance with work instructions using hand tools and power tools.
Receiving Inspector Qualifications
-Must be able to work from blueprints, work orders, specifications, and verbal direction.
-Must have consistently demonstrated a commitment to quality and possess exceptional attention to detail.
-Remedial math skills, visual inspection, and computer abilities necessary.
-Able to operate material moving equipment.
-Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills.
-Able to work collaboratively and/ or independently.
-Adaptable and flexible to changing needs of the facility (including shift rotation)
-Knowledge of and/or experience assembling industrial products and material handling.
Receiving Inspector Education
-High school education or equivalency. Must have good manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of torches, hand tools, and power tools safely.
Receiving Inspector Physical Demands
-May be required to lift/ move up to 50 pounds independently.
-May be required to perform regular motion tasks with arms, hands, wrists, and upper body.
-May be required to walk, climb, bend, twist, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout the course of the workday.
-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
